THE BLACK AND WHITE GROUP has successfully completed an on-site social media campaign for The Big 5 construction show in Dubai.
Covering four 8-hour days, we community-managed Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn with a strict 30-minute response time. We posted at least five times per day on each platform and took photographs on mobile phone. Images included events, interesting and unusual stands and keynote speakers.
Each evening, the team posted photography albums containing pictures taken by the show’s official photographers.
We also liaised with show organisers throughout the day to ensure we met key objectives. Prior to the show, we brainstormed and presented to the client a comprehensive content plan. This encompassed all aspects of the event.
It covered summits, talks, workshops and, at the start of the show, the red carpet and official opening. The content plan was detailed, well thought out and in line with the overall marketing strategy, as any good social media calendar should be.
After the event, THE BLACK AND WHITE GROUP compiled a post-show report. This highlighted the most popular and least popular posts throughout the four days. It also focused on total organic reach, and provided a demographic summary of the fan base, including age, nationality and gender.
